What can I say, it's been a busy couple of weeks, and I love nothing more than preparing for a new season like wondering around beauty isles.
Here you can see the result.
I swear when I started gathering things for this post I didn't thought I had bought so many things. But yes, this are my sneaky purchases from the last.. two-three weeks.
Natura Blush in 04 Bonze - Rimmel Natural bronzer in 28 Sunrise - Rimmel Stay Matte in 201 Classic Beige
I was in the mood for a new foundation when I spotted the Rimmel Stay Matte mouse, and decided to give it a go. The classic stay matte was my foundation trough my first makeup years (high school) but when I started getting more into it, I outgrew it. Until now. The texture is fantastic and so light weight, it goes matte without the need of a powder (so a no no for anyone without oily skin). I will say, the color range sucks. This shade is becoming a bit too dark for my skin, but the lighter shade is pretty much white.
I love Natura blushes, so when I saw this new shade Natura Aquarella in 04 Broze I ordered one on the spot. I did buy this planning on using it as a light bronzer for fall, but is definitely more of a peachy bronzed colour, but oh well, I love it anyways.
I blame this Rimmel Natural Bronzer on Lisa Eldridge and her new "how to wear bronzer video", I loved the result of this product on her skin and so I had to get it. I have to say I really like it, is not too dark, but it has nice pigmentation, it's a bit chalky and has just the slightest of shimmers. but it is a beautiful shade and it really works great as an eye contour.
Chubby balm in Kiss Me
A little background, Extreme is a drugstore's (Farmacity) own brand, and I have to say, they have been really bringing it lately! The products are super affordable and all the ones I've tried I loved.
This is their rendition to Clinique's Chubby sticks (if the name didn't gave them away) and it's super pigmented and moisturising. This is their Chubby Balm in the shade Kiss Me
Rimmel palette in Brixton Brown - MAC Pro Longwear paintpot in Camel Coat - Extreme eyebrow pencil.
If you've been reading my blog for a couple of moths, you will know that I eyed this Rimmel palette since about four months ago link. When it first came out in the UK as part of their (I suppose) Autumn winter collection, and when I saw it in the drugstore here in my city, I didn't even need to swatch it, I just went and bought it. This is their palette in Brixton Brown, and It's all I've been using in my eyes since I bought it.
I finally caved and went for the PRO Longwear Paintpots. I was actually looking for painterly, but when the MAC lady recommended Camel Coat, I decided to trust the expert. I'll say, if you have oily eyelids, try this for sure. I'm the kind of person whose eyeshadow creases with in the couple of hours, but not with this, I lasts until I remove my makeup.
Another Extreme product, their Cejas naturalmente visibles (naturally visible brows) brow pencil. Amazing texture and colour (a bit warm for my taste).
Hypnotise - Simply Sizzling - Uva Morada
If there is one thing I love about the colder months, is the vampy nail polish shades. So I got Rimmel's (there seems to be a lot of Rimmel in this haul) Salon PRO in Hypnotise (plumy burgundy shade). And because one never has enough fuchsia nail polishes, I also picked up Simply Sizzling. From my favourite nail polish brand, Cutex, I picked up the one shade I didn't have (amazing lasting power, but only about 10 shades in the collection) Uva Morada.
Hope you liked what I picked up,
